Where a personal information handler needs to transfer personal information due to a merger, division, dissolution, or bankruptcy or for other reasons, the handler shall inform the individuals of the name and contact information of the recipient of the transferred personal information. The recipient shall continue to perform the obligations of the said personal information handler. Any change of the original purposes or means of handling by the recipient shall be subject to individual consent in accordance with this Law.
