Personal information handled by state organs shall be stored within the territory of the People’s Republic of China. A security assessment shall be conducted where it is truly necessary to provide such information for any party outside of the territory of the People’s Republic of China. In the security assessment the relevant departments shall provide support and assistance if so requested.
